Kansas Commercial Drivers License locations are open Tuesday through Friday for administration of the CDL knowledge and skills testing. Offices are closed Saturday through Monday. After completion of knowledge testing, the CDL skills test must be scheduled in advance either in person or by calling one of the CDL office locations.
When applying for a renewal or original Hazardous Material Endorsement (HME), TSA fingerprints and a background check are required prior to knowledge testing, adding or renewing the endorsement. Allow 60 days for completion of an HME background check.
